CONFUSION OVER WHO SUNG '4 WHEELS TURNIN' OFF MICK JONES SOLO ALBUM (1989)

Here's a short blog for a request someone made to me, a song off the 1989 self titled solo album from FOREIGNER guitarist and 'part-time' singer MICK JONES called 4 WHEELS TURNIN'. There seems to be some confusion as to who sings this song, Jones does sing some of the songs on the album, but not this one. I think it is veteran 70`s rocker IAN HUNTER, but there are claims that it's in fact JOE LYNN TURNER, who served in DEEP PURPLE in the early 90`s as well as being a member of YNGWIE MALMSTEEN's RISING FORCE. To me it sounds like Hunter, and from what i can recall, the album credits list, which i dont have in front of me right now, credits Hunter as singing 4 WHEELS TURNIN'. Whoever sings the thing, it's one of the better songs off this patchy album, BILLY JOEL makes a guest appearance on the opening track JUST WANNA HOLD, which i think sounds a bit forced, the best track on the album in my opinion is the progressive rock guitar inspired WRONG SIDE OF THE LAW, which is sung by Jones.
