LOVE HAS TAKEN ITS TOLL ON JJ JUST AS MUCH AS FOREIGNER

Here's something a bit quirky and just for fun. There are countless You Tube videos on the internet of amateur and wannabe musos performing covers of the real McCoy at home, most of them sound like crap and aren't worthy to be on this very distinguished website (laugh).


But one coincidental look at this one and instead of showcasing the standard album version of the Foreigner tune LOVE HAS TAKEN ITS' TOLL off the 1978 album DOUBLE VISION i knew this was the one.


JJ is better than the average stay at home You Tube video star that's forsure, he has a mighty big drum kit, with more cymbals than you could throw a drumstick at. He plays drums alongside can music of the original recording, and in the process, proves himself to be a half decent drummer.


LOVE HAS TAKEN ITS TOLL is one of the most underated 70`s Foreigner songs, great rock'n'roll with lyrics containing a generous dose of satire and self depreciation, sung of course by the unmistakable Lou Gramm.
