CATHERINE BRITT TURNED INTO A ROCK CHICK PERFORMING A COVER OF SWEET CHILD O' MINE

Here's an off the wall cover performed by australian country music sensation CATHERINE BRITT that i find entertaining, even if not groundbreaking, at a BROOKS & DUNN concert in Brisbane about 4 years ago. I am not a huge follower of american country music, so i am not sure if the band backing Catherine here is BROOKS & DUNN or her own band, but the standard of musicianship displayed here is positively 'ordinary' (laugh), at least in rock terms. These guys bit off more than they could chew playing the GUNS 'N' ROSES classic SWEET CHILD OF MINE off the 1986 album APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION. But seriously, CATHERINE BRITT put on a stunning performance, her mean bitch vocals saved the day and almost made up for the lacklustre backing band. I agree with one of the You Tube commenters, the guitar solo is a shocker, i think the backing band should have just stopped playing and let Catherine belt it out on her own.
