BRYAN ADAMS TURNS RECKLESS WHEN THE KIDS WANNA ROCK

Unlike W.A.S.P (re: previous post), i was literally born and raised on the 80`s music of BRYAN ADAMS, lost track of the amount of times i played the albums YOU WANT IT, YOU GOT IT (1981), CUTS LIKE A KNIFE (1983) and of course his watershed and timeless classic RECKLESS in 1984. I was meaning to feature the song FITS YA GOOOD off the first of those albums, but i couldn't find anything decent on You Tube with that song, only a inferior live one which was recorded at Bukodan in Japan. So in place of that, i thought i'd go with something tried and true off the RECKLESS album which has never made the australian FM radio playlist called KIDS WANNA ROCK. Nothing more and nothing less than just a no-nonsense ballsy rock'n'roll song. SUMMER OF '69, HEAVEN and RUN TO YOU to this day 28 years on still get played all the time on the radio, and yet KIDS WANNA ROCK never does. Without checking, i guess chances are it was never released as a single. For the life of me i could never understand, and i still cant, why radio stations dont occasionally go out on a limb, take a dare, and play an obscure B-side for the hell of it. Is it going to hurt anybody? KIDS WANNA ROCK proves the ficklety of FM radio staions and their narrow devotion to playing the same old A-sides over and over while so many classic B-sides gather dust in the vault.
