ALL ARSE BUT STEVEN BRADBURY WAS ALL CLASS

This remains the most magical moment in the history of australian involvement in the Winter Olympics. A born loser, STEVEN BRADBURY, who by his own admission considered himself lucky even to set foot in Salt Lake City for the 2002 games, let alone be in a position to win a medal, pulled off one of the most unlikely of victories when fellow competitors in the speed skating final stacked it big time on the final bend before the finish line, allowing the slow coach aussie wannabe to cruise past them giving them the finger (laugh) to cross the finish line first after coming last until this one almighty pile up.

The look of euphoria on the face of the aussie speed skater, after he crossed the finish line and went around on his victory lap while his competitors were laying in a heap on the ice and scrambling to get to their feet, is enough to bring a tear to the eye of Rambo. It was all arse and no class but Steve Bradbury nailed it.
