ABBA - I HAVE A DREAM : AN AWESOME PERFORMANCE BY ANNI-FRID LYNGSTAD

No ABBA song is a lost treasure if you were to take notice of You Tube views, every single one of them has had millions of views. ABBA were huge and apart from the United States the swedish pop mega-group of the 1970's repeatedly conquered the top of the chart in every territory of the world. BJORN ULVAEUS and BENNY ANDERSSON, the two guys in ABBA, weren't as good looking of course (laugh) as the two beautiful ladies singing out front - the blond bombshell AGENTHA FALTSKOG and the more reserved, less glamourous but no less sultry ANNI-FRID LYNGSTAD. Faltskog stole the limelight from Lyngstad more often than the other way around, generally because of her dominance in the choruses of most ABBA songs. But quite often Lyngstad created the mood with stunning intro vocals, Faltskog more often the soprano who took centre stage during the choruses after the more alto-like Lyngstad had laid the groundwork. Officially, its fairly even who was credited as being the lead vocalist between the two, generally Faltskog sung lead on more of the big hits, while Lyngstad sung lead on many of the more obscure ABBA songs, well as obscure as an ABBA song could be. One less talked about ABBA song that Anni-Frid Lyngstad sung lead on which i rate as the best performance of her entire career, including before and after ABBA, is the spiritually charged I HAVE A DREAM.
