ROY BUCHANAN - WHIPLASH (INSTRUMENTAL)

I think i might have written previously about this song, most likely in one of my old SIX PACK OF ROCKERS YOU DONT HEAR ON THE RADIO volumes, before i thought to start up a seperate blog for music alongside my No. 1 blog BADRICK UNADULTERATED i had already flirted with writing about obscure music on BU.

Because i didn't feel that my BADRICK UNADULTERATED audience was that interested in music and pop culture i decided to start this blog up. Anyway, if i have written about this beforehand who really cares, if you are a fan of white knuckle electric blues i dont think you will.

The blistering blues rock instrumental WHIPLASH by the late american blues legend ROY BUCHANAN is a song he recorded in 1986, after he had turned his back on major record labels and signed with the niche Chicago blues label ALLIGATOR.

There is not much to say other than this is just a bloody good exhibition of pyrotechnic blues guitar shredding which makes Motley Crue sound like a bunch of pussies.
