ANYONE HEARD OF INGRAM HILL?

Just finished writing a big serious article on Badrick Unadulterated No 1. , it's very late and i am having a cup of tea and a piece of cornbread and heading off to bed soon. But before i do that, i thought i would quickly write a blog to stop all my Lost Treasures fans from starving. INGRAM HILL is an american band that i dont know much about, since 2000 the band, after having endured multiple line-up changes, has released one EP and five full length albums.

It's next to impossible to buy an INGRAM HILL album in Australia off the shelf, the copy i have of the band's 2004 release JUNE'S PICTURE SHOW was actually a stray import CD that my local music shop sold to me for a paltry $7.99, quite an insult for what is one of the better 'boys band' albums from the 90`s.

I'm not quite sure that the members of the band would appreciate such a title, but in underogative way, i would term INGRAM HILL's sound, at least on JUNE'S PICTURE SHOW, as being boys band like, but with a heavy grunge, post-alternative rock influence.

To be honest, i have not heard any of the other INGRAM HILL albums, but seeing that around 200 americans at least is reading Lost Treasures Review every day, perhaps one of you guys can be one of the rare commenters on here and put in a plug for INGRAM HILL.

Go ahead, my blog wont bite you if you make a comment (laugh). JUNE'S PICTURE SHOW is a bit like a grunge version of MATCHBOX 20, the best songs on the album are CHICAGO, ALMOST PERFECT and this one i chose, ON MY WAY. Time i was 'on my way' to bed folks.
