BOBBY CASH THE INDIAN COWBOY

BOBBY CASH, affectionately nicknamed the INDIAN COWBOY, had become quite a regular at the Tamworth Country Music Festival during the early 2000's, but he has been just as noticable by his absence from the star studded event in recent years.

I have never seen him play live in concert, but my mother rated him one of the best overseas country acts she had ever seen, better than a lot more fancied american country stars.

Coming from a country of over a billion people, CASH got limited but effective exposure in a documentary called ONE IN A BILLION, which chronicled one of his tours to Australia. Just when he seemed to be carving out a niche and garnishing a loyal following in Australia, courtesy mostly of his Tamworth appearances, in 2008 he decided to take a break from music to concentrate on his family and charitable causes back in India.

I'm not normally a fan of country and western music, mainly because most practitioners of it are a bit too hillbilly for my liking, but WHAT WOULD YOU DO is a great piece of true blue C&W, just as good as anything that BRAD PAISLEY or ALAN JACKSON have come up in the last few years.
