TILL LINDEMANN STARTS ON FIRE AS RAMMSTEIN PERFORM RAMMSTEIN LIVE AUS BERLIN

From lowly beginnings as a band of misfits from the wrong side of the Berlin Wall, meaning the Cold War occupied East Berlin, industrial metal kings RAMMSTEIN rose to international prominence 5 years after the Berlin War come tumbling down with the debut album HERZELEID. Renowned for their outlandish live in concert science fiction theatrics and the bizarre showmanship of vocalist TILL LINDEMANN, who has made it a good habit of singing about every taboo known to mankind since the band started, RAMMSTEIN by the late 90`s had already built up a large hardcore following across Europe, a unique fan base which took in people from a wide musical demographic. Rammstein's crossover industrial metal appealed to both fans of euro speed and death metal as well as fans of alternative and post-grunge rock, which explains the band's mass appeal despite remaining relatively uncommercial. LINDEMANN sings most RAMMSTEIN songs in german, and hence, i dont know what the guy is singing about most of the time (laugh). I dont think any RAMMSTEIN songs promote Hitler and the Nazis, just grim stories which chronicled the band member's life growing up in East Germany, with some sexual depravity thrown in. Here is the signature tune of RAMMSTEIN, called RAMMSTEIN, performed by the band in 1998 in Berlin. It is the same recording which ended up on what remains the band's definitive album - LIVE AUS BERLIN. Pardon the poor quality of this video vision wise, i chose it over a couple of others because this one includes the creepy intro, the other videos dont.
