IGGY POP AND SLASH OVERCOME BY HEAVY METAL PUSSY POWER

Couple more heavy metal posts up my sleeve, this might be my second or third last one, not sure yet, we'll see what spontaneous inspiration overcomes me in the next night or two. This song is definitely not trad metal, it's a song from a seminal artist whose often tagged as being the very first prototype punk rocker - who else but the extremely craggly looking IGGY POP. Looking much older than what he ever was at any stage due to a life of substance abuse beginning in the early 70`s, IGGY POP nonetheless was a livewire performer even if a very untalented songwriter. I guess such a description would sum up most punk rockers wouldn't it? Iggy was always good at one thing, and that is writing some totally hilarious lyrics, if only he had branched out into metal long before him and GNR's SLASH got together for two songs off his BRICK BY BRICK album in 1989. The other songs off BRICK BY BRICK are a mixture of watered down pop laden half cooked punk songs, but PUSSY POWER and MY BABY WANTS TO ROCK AND ROLL are rock heavy to the max and would almost pass as heavy metal, thanks obviously to SLASH's co-involvement on guitar.
