FABULOUS THUNDERBIRDS SOUND ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS WITH THE BOOGIE WOOGIE OF 'LOOK AT THAT, LOOK AT THAT'
True to my word here is the other song off The Fabulous Thunderbird's 1986 album TUFF ENUFF which i rate as one of my favourite modern blues songs, the boogie woogie piano masterpiece LOOK AT THAT, LOOK AT THAT. A procession of personnel changes over the past 25 years has not helped the band achieve either a consistent musical formula or an influence on modern contemporary blues which this and a couple of other 80`s Thunderbirds albums should have been, but singer Kim Wilson and his bombastic lyrical pose have been the one constant, even if the guitarists who've replaced the irreplacable Jimmie Vaughan since his departure in 1988 have never been capable of filling such illustrious shoes. Love this song to bits, going back a couple of years when i was still drinking beer and eating potato chips every night and playing air guitar LOOK AT THAT, LOOK AT THAT was often the song that got the party going.
