WTF DOES PETRI HAWKINS-BYRD MUMBLE AT THE START OF EVERY JUDGE JUDY CASE?

The show was always tailor made for the sensationalised viewing tastes of millions of americans, but it's longetivity on the box, especially outside the United States, is still surprising, given that other shows pitched in the same 'real life law enforcement' theme, like the LA based real life police beat show COPS, didn't make it past the 90`s or at best were on their last breath in the very early 2000's. JUDGE JUDY, full name JUDITH SCHEINDLIN, is certainly a caustic and overbearing personality, of course Judge Judy has always hammed up a bit of theatre for the cameras at the expense of the nitwits she gets saddled with who are usually sueing someone because a dog wont stop barking or an ex forgot to pay the rent and likeminded trivial petty domestic rot, but she couldn't possibly be the sort of lady who you'd have a romantic dinner with as a candle burned with Van Morrison playing in the background. JUDGE JUDY debuted on american TV on the 16th September, 1996 and is now into its 17th season and before becoming a TV star Scheindlin was a family court judge in Manhattan. Between 1998 and 2011, the show wracked up no less than 14 consecutive daytime TV Emmy nominations, but quite amazingly, Scheindlin never walked away with a gold plated gong. Given the huge ratings which the show has maintained over the past 16 years, suspicions about the Emmy's being rigged by the powers that be in Hollywood to snub JUDGE JUDY certainly seem to be warranted. Scheindlin is contracted to be on air at least until the end of 2014, she may not have scored an Emmy award but she sure as heck has showed up a lot of elitist snobs in the Hollywood establishment. One question i would like to ask anyone who cares to make a comment to this blog is what does Judge Judy's court marshall PETRI HAWKINS-BYRD 'mumble' at the beginning of each court case before he says 'judge has been sworn in' and after he says that. I have tried putting my ear right up to the TV speaker and i'd be buggered if i have ever been able to work out what the dude is saying. This particular case in the video above is a classic performance by JUDGE JUDY as she grinds a scammer down and makes him look like a complete and utter fool. It's a wonder that Judith Scheindlin isn't in an asylum after dealing with the people she has for so many years in her hyped up courtroom.
