THE MEDICINE CABINET IS JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED FOR PROGRESSIVE ROCK

These guys have been buried in my Blogger draft menu for ages, never really known how to start writing a blog about THE MEDICINE CABINET, because i have no starting point to begin from, and the band is so hard to categorise. The band hales from Cleveland, Ohio and is a progressive rock band, very elemental in place of being radio friendly, one listen to MISCARRIAGE (MOTHER EARTH, LOVER EARTH) which comes off the yet to be released AND THE FRENCHMAN ROLLS UP HIS SLEEVE, due out next month in April, and i can hear the influence of JETHRO TULL, YES, early GENESIS, even a hint of MARILLION and ROBIN TROWER in the sound of THE MEDICINE CABINET. Although it's unlikely that the band will record a number 1 album anytime soon the band's imminent debut album should keep a lot of hardcore american progressive rock lovers happy.
