MELINDA SCHNEIDER LIKES TO SING ABOUT REAL PEOPLE

Facebook doesn't throw up many surprises to me, no one hardly talks to me on there anymore (laugh) but i just discovered that australian country singer MELINDA SCHNEIDER is one of my Facebook friends. I am honoured to have her as one, because not only is she one of Australia's most underated country singers there is but she is also one of the nicest and most genuine chicks you'll find in the music and entertainment industry anyway. I saw her perform a few songs at the Golden Saddle in Tamworth a few years ago during the annual music festival, but i have never her seen her perform a whole concert on her own. Her mother is MARY SCHNEIDER, a matriarch of australian country music and bush ballads who was renowned for being one of the best yodelers australia ever produced. Melinda is in a de facto relationship with former 'bad boy' rocker MARK GABLE, the lead singer of 80`s australian pub rock band CHOIRBOYS. They have had a baby son together. Melinda is just one of the most pleasant country singers around, not forceful or browbeating and no attitude like TAYLOR SWIFT. I dont know a lot of her songs to listen to, maybe 7 or 8, something like that, but one song she did perform at the Golden Saddle which i rate as her best song is REAL PEOPLE. The song and clip was recorded near Rockhampton, where real working class people are abundant. Despite now residing in Sydney, Melinda's still got her feet planted firmly on the ground and definitely has no tags on herself.
