SAMMY HAGAR LIKES HIS MAS TEQUILA AND GETTING STONED

Personally I like the 1999 album version of SAMMY HAGAR's tribute to his favourite drink tequila aptly tited MAS TEQUILA, but for pure entertainment value, complete with two quite gorgeous woman dressed in black bikinis who joined Hagar and his moonlighting band THE WABOS on stage for this 2010 live performance, I thought to create a bit of controversy and be a bad boy for once I better go with this clip instead.

MAS TEQUILA is really more of a funk rock song than hard rock song, makes you wonder why Hagar couldn't have recorded something with such a freeflowing and effortless groove for Van Halen. 

MAS TEQUILA comes off the 1999 album RED VOODOO, and quickly become the signature anthem of Hagar's annual birthday bash at his very own nightclub called CABO WABO CANTINA in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

To my knowledge Hagar still owns a sister nightclub situated in Lake Tahoe, Nevada in the United States, but in 2010, sold his very 'sentimental majority' stake in the tequila brand he created, CABO WABO TEQUILA, but a few years later got back into the grog business with his very own rum called SAMMY'S BEACH BAR RUM.


Hagar also likes his pot, songs as his like HIGH HOPES and FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH, off a totally overlooked movie by the same name, testament to his love of the demon weed. If you dont like to party and get stoned you'd be best advised to stay right away from Hagar (laugh).
