NOW YOU'RE IN HEAVEN AFTER LISTENING TO JULIAN LENNON

Julian Lennon - Now You're In Heaven by jpdc11 This is a first for me, instead of You Tube i have finally worked out on my new computer how to embed Dailymotion, which will allow for me to feature a lot more in the way of obscure music on here in the future. But spare me that tonight, it's getting a bit late here so instead of digging for a lost classic i thought i would recycle one of my favourite songs from 1989, very popular in Australia, so much so that it topped the charts here. That was the year when Motley Crue and Poison glam rock was selling records by the bucketload, and when most of my peers at school were under the spell of METALLICA and an imagery of other thrash metal bands. It was a bit uncool for 14 year old Timmy to like songs like NOW WE'RE IN HEAVEN by JULIAN LENNON, the oft times forgotten son of slain Beatle JOHN LENNON, back in those days i was such a wholesome and squeaky clean boy (laugh). 1989 was a weird year for popular music, it was somewhat of a transitional year when the curtain was starting to fall on 80`s pop and metal and when hip hop and rap was emerging as the next big thing. NOW WE'RE HEAVEN stood out that year because JULIAN LENNON actually sang unlike MC HAMMER who settled for talking.
