LIVE OVERCOME WITH COMPASSION AFTER SEPTEMBER 11

If you like me listen to the early LIVE albums, and think yeah, great anthemic alternative grunge laced hard rock songs, big uproarouschoruses, but are left scratching your head thinking what 'former' lead singer ED KOWALCZYK was always singing about or what message he has trying to convey in his lyrics overall, then by the time the album V was released in 2001 you would have good reason to say hallelujah with the inspiring piano led gospel ballad OVERCOME.

For once you could understand the words coming from Kowalczyk's mouth, and coincidently the song become a soundtrack of spiritual healing across America in the aftermath of the September 11 terror attacks, with the band donating proceeds from the release of OVERCOME on single to charities to help the families of the nearly 3000 victims.
