MICHAEL OLAF DISCOVERS LIFE ON JUPITER

This guy is another sudden edition to my Twitter followers list, lately i've had quite a few struggling and underachieving american musicians adding me on there, my blog has always been well patronised by the yanks even if rarely commented on. I had never heard of MICHAEL OLAF until this morning, so i wont make out i am an adoring fan or that i know his music catalogue other than a few clips of his that he's personally downloaded to You Tube, but one listen to LIFE ON JUPITER really impressed me. He might just be a tadpole in the reservoir of american musical wannabes, besides being a musician he is also a qualified lawyer and i suspect an entrepreneur of sorts in the educational childrens book business, if a generic website besides his music one is anything to go by. Out of the four songs of Michael's that i sampled, LIFE ON JUPITER is the only one that jumped out and grabbed me as being something really special, although i'm sure there's a couple of gems of his hiding away somewhere waiting for me to dig up. Michael probaly has not even heard of the guy, but his vocal style to me is so similiar to australian surfie acoustic crooner PETE MURRAY, especially on this standout track.
