JOE COCKER SONG TO UPLIFT YOUR SPIRITS

For all I know I might have posted something on here before about this most inspiring song from the late 1980's, they just don't record songs as good as this anymore IMO, but who cares, right now I need a bit of uplifting out of my rut of unemployment and single life loneliness, and I STAND IN WONDER by JOE COCKER, which comes off the gravelly voiced englishman's UNCHAIN MY HEART album from 1987, is a very regular addition to my home stereo playlist. 

Apart from being one of Cocker's most powerful vocal performances, the hint of a gospel influence elevates this fantastic soulful chant to an even greater heights than some of Cocker's more popular and well known songs, such as his duet UP WHERE WE BELONG with JENNIFER WARNES off the OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN soundtrack album.
