TRIPLE SHOT OF TREVOR COLEMAN

Until around an hour ago, I had never heard of TREVOR COLEMAN. I could be forgiven, because Trevor it seems is just another very talented but struggling musician who admitted to me that he is really battling to get gigs around the Gold Coast where he is based and desperately needs to get any exposure he can to rectify that situation.

On his website, Trevor states that he has been studying music for nearly a decade, that makes him sound a bit like a John McLaughlin protégé, a guitar scholar as much as a natural born virtuoso, although in place of jazz guitar like MAHAVUSHNU, which happens to be McLaughlin's 'other' name LOL, Trevor down the road from me here in Queensland is more likely to explore 70's folk rock themes, which he lists as his primary musical influence. The guy needs a break and here is three songs of his to lure a record company exec to give him one.
