Rain Man is one of my absolute favourite 80`s movies, normally I dont like Tom Cruise and his love myself kind of characters but I reckon he was brilliant in this movie playing the role of the arrogant and cocksure car salesman Charlie Babbit.
His severely autistic brother in the movie, Raymond, played even more brilliantly by veteran actor Dustin Hoffman, at first is treated like an emotional punching bag by the clearly emotionless Charlie.

Raymond is in fact the RAIN MAN, as you will know or find out if you see or have seen the movie, when Charlie was very young and before Raymond was placed in an institution, he thought Raymond sounded like RAIN MAN, as any 2 year old might,
and of course that was his last memory of Raymond until their `forced` reunion following the death of their father.

It was then that their tour of self discovery and emotional bonding began when they drove to LA instead of flying, complete with shenanigans at motels and arguments about underwear.
It is impossible for me to articulate every special moment in this movie, unless I was to write about ten articles, let this be an introduction if you haven`t seen it and reminder of how great the movie is if you have seen it.
