WILLIE BRADLEY HAS THE ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS TO BLOW A TRUMPET

Hanging five on my Party Rockers Top 20 briefly to showcase one of the best smooth jazz trumpeters on the scene in the United States at the present time, his name is WILLIE BRADLEY and he is a member of the jazz outfit ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS from North Carolina.


The good thing about Twitter for me is that I get to touch base with many great and underated american obscure bands and artists who i never would have heard of in a million years were it not for them following me on there. Twitter leaves facebook for dead in that department, I don't even get friend requests on that useless pile of puss social media site (laugh).


Always keep my eye out for the next MILES DAVIS and I still haven't found him yet, WILLIE BRADLEY is not in the same league as the world famous be-bop and jazz fusion revolutionary trumpeter (yet) but in fairness I don't think he's trying to be, because he and ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS are essentially (pardon the pun) a lounge jazz act, a far cry from the concert hall and arena jazz that Davis churned out back in the day.


Haven't had time to do my homework on the band but here is a sample of WILLIE BRADLEY playing the trumpet with a backing band (not the other members of Essential Elements) at the jazz lounge aboard the NORWEGIAN STAR CRUISE LINER.
