TESLA TAKE TWO - CLASSIC SINGLE FROM THE CLASSIC DEBUT ALBUM MECHANICAL RESONANCE

While the thought is fresh in my mind, I thought it would be good to come good on my promise to feature many songs of US hard rock/metal band Tesla on Lost Treasures.

The previous blog featured a video clip of a song off their second album THE GREAT RADIO CONTROVERSY, this one comes off their critically acclaimed debut album
MECHANICAL RESONANCE from 1986.

No nonsense hard rock off this album, not as polished as many other bands from that era but that's what really made Tesla different from all the glam cock rock of the 1980`s.

Instead of lipstick and eye liner these guys were bred tough, they wore denim jeans and there music was similarly unpretentious.

The song this time is GETTIN' BETTER, a reasonable short to the point pro working
class boogie rock chant which sounds like a
mixture of Acca Dacca, Aerosmith and Bad
Company.

Done alright in america but to this day this song as well as this album haven't even crossed the mind of music critics in Australia, let alone ever getting any air play on mainstream radio.
