SPACE INVADERS REMAINS AT THE FOREFRONT OF VIDEO GAME AND TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION (NO SHIT)

Arrr, the good ol' days hey, you know, when whippersnappers knee high to a grasshopper who were born in the 70`s were catapulted into the magical realm of the mid 80`s dream, never to be the same again. 

The 80`s were a revolutionary time in terms of technology, even though in retrospect all the technology from back then know belongs
in a museum or time capsule. 

When arcade games started coming into being around the end of the 70`s, it was like WOW MAN! - how technologically advanced is this shit man? 

Us young kids who had never seen anything like it when games such as SPACE INVADERS started a cultural revolution were virtually seduced by the arcade game stampede of the early 80`s. 

Remember back then the internet was not invented, there was no emails and the flavour of the month was computers with a whopping 64K of memory, and man, that was so cool. 

Just think, kids back then were not even sic, we just liked mullet cuts and sat around playing the Atari 2600, after we had watched Skippy of course. 

And the best old fashioned video game remains the primitive and groundbreaking SPACE INVADERS. 

What it lacks in 3 dimensional magic it makes up for in old fashioned innocence and reminding old buggers like me how we use to kill time when the repeats of Skippy started to get boring.
