KRANSKY SISTERS FROM ESK GIVE SEXUAL HEALING THE ECCENTRIC TOUCH

Up until a few days ago the most eccentric thing on the planet had eluded me, I had no idea it existed, but finally i was liberated and now I feel as free as what MARVIN GAYE did around 1981 when he was known to perform SEXUAL HEALING on stage while high on crack cocaine and masturbating in front of the audience (laugh). True story, that really happened, around that time Gaye was going bananas following the colossal commercial success of his 1980 album MIDNIGHT LOVE, his life being tragically cut short after being shot dead by his father in 1982.

Getting back to this ultimate eccentricity, well THE KRANSKY SISTERS, who hail from Esk which is just down the road from my hometown of Toogoolawah, are it. The sisterly comedy and musical trio are really wacky and out there with the fairies man. It was only after my mum heard Brisbane ABC Radio presenter RICHARD FIDLER interview them on his morning show last week that i knew of them.

I am still in a stage of discovery with THE KRANSKY SISTERS, i doubt very much at first impressions that I am going to become a huge and devoted fan of them, their comedy is very stilted and cumbersome, but they can really sing quite well, even if their choice of instruments is out there in the land where not even FRANK ZAPPA was game to walk.

Pots and pans and a toilet brush are part of the hardcore rhythm section with THE KRANSKY SISTERS (laugh). The girls are renowned for putting a very quirky twist on some very popular songs, now just sit back and be free as you listen to them perform SEXUAL HEALING.
