LET'S DO THE FLEETWOOD BOOGIE

As far as a fun blues band that doesn't take itself too seriously goes, then in the world of blues THE MICK FLEETWOOD BLUES BAND is just absolutely unbeatable. It is only really a moonlighting side project of sorts for Fleetwood, and to my knowledge this blistering blues band has only ever released two albums, SOMETHING BIG (2004) and BLUE AGAIN (2008), but they are two albums that represent some of the best blues ever recorded.

These guys on stage are simply unstoppable, they're a machine, and they crank out some great boogie woogie. Besides the involvement of the obvious namesake drummer, the other artistic force present is guitarist RICK VITO, a modern day protege of original FLEETWOOD MAC guitarist PETER GREEN who obviously was in his ultimate element being able to play Peter Green's own tunes in the company of argubaly the greatest drummer to ever come out of the UK. Any blues fan has got to have these two albums in their possession. Here is the awesome FLEETWOOD BOOGIE live, which features on BLUE AGAIN.
