STEFAN! YEAH STEFAN! GO YOU BIG STUD!

Queensland hairdressing entrepreneurial icon Steve Ackerie, better known as STEFAN, use to come on TV for five minute advertising segments to promote his hair salons bearing his popularised name as well as the latest and greatest shampoo on the market and what the heck I thought, Stefan and his porsche are legends and his painfully stilted appearances on TV are almost a lost treasure these days, so here I am writing about Mr. Shampoo himself.

STEFAN has lots of hair salons all over
Queensland, he tried to set up stores interstate in Sydney and Melbourne but they never took off outside Queensland.

He is known as a one time speed boat enthusiast who once hung out with Gerry Bellino (holy heck 😱😆) and has a famous penthouse at South Bank with a heap of dirty big palm trees growing in his top floor garden bed. 

He is known for being a bit of a scrooge who likes going to auctions to buy second hand bits and pieces, but as they say to make money you sometimes have to save money. 

STEFAN owns the Expo 88 skyneedle, the only artifact that`s left from that 6 month long event some 23 years ago, now and then he gets his toy out patrolling the Brisbane skyline and you will see a bright light zooming across the city, enough to make you sentimental about Expo and days gone by. 

STEFAN is a generous guy, he has a couple of charity vans which are constantly getting around inner Brisbane dishing out food to
all the homeless who need a good feed. 

One can only imagine the joy it brings to the homeless and destitute in Brisbane when they munch on one of Stefan`s famous hot dogs. 

He is a corporate egalitarian, compassionate but very capable in business. STEFAN has even proven the pundits wrong in recent times by hooking up with a lady friend, it was often rumoured that the bloke was more of a man's man but obviously one chick swept him off his feet. 

He and his late in life girlfriend looked as happy as pigs in mud together just lately in the SUNDAY MAIL, both of them were smiling ear to ear in the paper and it seems nothing could wipe the smile off the face of these two lovebirds. 

As far as your girlfriend goes, can I just say this much Stefan, and I`m sorry for not being original - STEFAN! YEAH STEFAN!
