INTRODUCING THE OTHER LITTLE HOTTIE IN THE LIFE OF THE KNACK, AND HER NAME ISN`T SHARONA

The new romantic style of British rock in the early 80`s threw up a few gems, acts such as Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet were the more stadium sized type, while more paired down and club sounding acts like The Romantics and The Knack were never as successful but still managed a few hits between them.

Whenever you think of The Knack you probably immediately think of their one and only hit, MY SHARONA, which continues to be a nightclub and disco favourite until this very day.

There is one other Knack song which always have liked a lot, funky with a lot of jazzy dry percussion, do not know how successful it was as a single, or if in fact it was released as one, but it is a neat rock`n`roll number
anyway.

It`s called (SHE`S SO) SELFISH, the lyrics are a bit lewd and naughty, I think of it as MY SHARONA with a little more spice added.

Like so many 80`s acts that come out of England, the band remains faceless, no one hardly ever found out which people were behind most bands in that era but at the end of the day all that mattered was that they produced radio friendly hits.

I could Wikipedia the band members but I
will let you do that, and while you are at it, check out (SHE`S SO) SELFISH. She`s hot man!
