WHY HAS THE QUEENSLAND HEALTH FUNDING AXE SUDDENLY FALLEN ON QoVAX RESEARCH?

Why on earth has Queensland Health suddenly cut off funding for the "award winning" QoVax program, which has already made significant scientific inroads into finding out what long COVID really is, in aid of helping those struck down with this horrible illness to find a cure? 

It's crazy, it's nonsensical and it's a huge slap in the face for the entire scientific fraternity in Queensland. Basically - it's like Queensland Health is effectively saying that home grown medical science isn't good enough. That it doesn't cut it up against "international competitors". I say that is crap.

The QoVax program's core objective, besides research into understanding long COVID and finding a cure for it, is to study the efficacy and safety of COVID vaccines. 

One must wonder if that is where it hit a huge political snag, that has absolutely nothing to do with science. 

Is it a case of QoVax being a threat to various agendas being propelled by stakeholders in the vaccine industry who have absolutely zero scientific qualifications?

Like certain billionaires who live in other countries whose only qualifications appear to be to having an unhealthy influence over entire governments and, to be straight to the point, the World Economic Forum. 

QoVax could aptly and accurately be described as a mega bio-bank. A wealth of objective, untarnished research into long COVID and the vaccines is about to go down the drain, on the watch of the Palaszczuk government. 

Absolute madness. Not certain, but probably because QoVax is having "too much success" with its research, success which was going to become a huge obstacle to the wrong kind of people.
