RAIL TRAM AND BUS UNION LUDDITES ILLOGICAL TO DO WITH QR TRAIN DRIVER SHORTAGE

When will the idiocy and irrational obstructionism of the Rail Tram and Bus Union cease to do with its ongoing crusade to stop the Palaszczuk Government from continuing its "external recruitment drive" to get more train drivers working for QR as soon as possible? 

A case of uncompromising stupidity. The hard reality that the Luddites who run the RTBU can't accept is that there simply is not enough train drivers working the Brisbane metropolitan network to keep it functioning efficiently like it use to be. 

The RTBU, as you would expect, is going to always endeavour to look after its own members first. That it wants QR management to fill the train driver void where possible with those from within its own ranks as such is totally understandable. 

However, there is no excuse for the RTBU to hold the State Government to ransom and make threats to engage in disruptive industrial action. Common sense doesn't figure with these trade union standover men it seems. 

Brisbane's metropolitan train system is broken. It's running on two cylinders. Ongoing delays and overcrowding can only be rectified with more train services, and that means more train drivers.Does the RTBU want to be part of the solution, or continue to be the problem?
