BRETT FORTE FUNDRAISER LETTER OF MINE WHICH GOT THE LOCAL MEDIA SNUB
The late Brett Forte was a most respected, admired and dearly loved husband, father and police officer.
His tragic murder, at the hands of a deranged gunman, has robbed the greater Gatton region of a dedicated police officer who had a sincere heart and done a lot of tangible, positive things for his community, on and off the job.
His widow and children don't have Brett in their lives anymore, and apart from the emotional hurdles the family has to now overcome, there will be financial ones as well.
The premier dog club in the Lockyer Valley, Dogland Australia, seeks to lessen that burden on Brett's family by putting on a fundraiser "big day out" this coming Saturday, the 24th June.
The event will kick off at 10am, at 80 Penderests Road, Murphys Creek. You just need to bring a chair along with you.
There will be plenty of dog related activities and exhibits on show, and food and drinks will be available. Be there not just to support Brett's family, but for Brett too. I'm sure he will there in spirit.
