SENATE INQUIRY MUST EXAMINE WHO OR WHAT PUSHED CHINCHILLA'S GEORGE BENDER TO END HIS LIFE

The circumstances surrounding and leading up to the death of George Bender, the very committed anti-CSG farmer from Chinchilla who recently committed suicide, certainly are very suspect and need to be examined as part of a federal senate inquiry, besides any ongoing police investigation.

Senator Glenn Lazarus is one politician who has not only had the moral substance and decency to have lent an ear to the plight of farmers but to have gone out there in person and seen for himself what negative impacts the non-conventional gas industry in having on them, their communities and the environment.

It has been alleged that Mr. Bender was bullied and intimidated by a certain gas company, assumably the one which was about to invade his property by stealth against his will to put down numerous gas wells.

He had been fighting gas company encroachment of the Western Downs for a decade, he was not a quitter, he was in for the long haul, but one day recently something made him give up and tipped him over the edge. Question is - who or what pushed him to do so?
