Widodo and his 'holier than thou' Attorney-General Muhammad Prasetyo would have had to expect an outcome like this at the very least.
Regardless of what your views are on the execution of Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran, the fact is Widodo's and Prasetyo's increasingly unsettling jingoism and ultra-nationalist dialogue is not in keeping whatsoever with developing and maintaining a constructive and peaceful relationship with Australia.
