RECORD MIGRANT INTAKE DEFINITELY NOT IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF AUSTRALIA RIGHT NOW

Australia's record monthly intake of over 100000 migrants could not have come at a worse and more inappropriate time.

With the country still grappling with an unresolved and worsening housing crisis, unemployment rising, public hospitals and other critical infrastructure not even coping with meeting the needs and demands of the current population, migrant intake should in fact right now be a trickle, and not a stampede.

Try telling that to prime minister Anthony Albanese, who appears to be emulating, albeit on a smaller scale, US president Joe Biden, who is presently allowing America to be literally swamped by "illegal immigrants". America is paying the ultimate price for Biden's open the floodgate immigration madness with a huge spike in the worst forms of violent crime in a number of US states, a prime example being New York.

Without suggesting that there isn't many legitimate would be migrants wanting to come here, unlike Biden's America, the Albanese government has to immediately curb migrant intake. It's not in Australia's best interests whatsoever.

Until the housing crisis ends, which wouldn't appear to be anytime soon,  migrant intake should be limited to those immigrants who are genuine refugees or skilled.

Albanese has to get his priorities in order and right now they aren't. He has to start putting  Australian citizens first, and reacquainting himself with something called border security.
