QUEENSLAND MUST BE RIDDED OF THE CFMEU'S EXTORTION AND MAFIA SCALE BELIGGERENCE

During the entire time of the Star Casino's construction, the militant CFMEU has basically been blackmailing the state government and Queensland taxpayers. 

By prohibiting any non-CFMEU tradesperson from setting one foot on the construction site, and by demanding, and succeeding, in getting outrageously high wages for its workers, like around $250 an hour. 

The CFMEU from the get go managed to have its ridiculous demands met through passive threats and intimidation. Just like how the Mafia operates. No different whatsoever. It must never be permitted to ever do it again, as in how it has been allowed to operate as a law unto itself, to do with the Star Casino development. 

Simply meaning - the Miles government must purge the CFMEU any way which it has to. No company stays in business by making threats and blackmailing their opposition. So why should it be any different for the CFMEU? 

If the CFMEU continues to refuse to negotiate and compromise to do with pay and conditions for its members, without resorting to militancy and thuggery like it has from its beginnings, then looking forward it has lost all legitimacy.
