Queensland police officers, who simply exercised their "legal and constitutional right" and chose not to be vaccinated for COVID-19, were sacked, or at least suspended from active duty.
They broke no laws, I am sure at least the vast majority of the police in question were ethical, decent people, who made an informed, personal decision that COVID-19 vaccination was "not for them", just like any civilian who has the same rights would do.
They got sacked or suspended for not agreeing to undergo a "forced medical procedure". That is exactly what "mandated vaccination" is, and it's unconstitutional. As for legally speaking, well it's mighty dubious.
Meanwhile, quite a number of senior ranking Queensland police, including at least a few superintendents, have kept their jobs, despite being exposed by the recent DV inquiry as being sexist, deviant, racist, misogynistic sleezes who have no genuine respect for women, people of colour or just who they regard, in their narcissistic, high functioning spectrum state of mind, as being a lowlife and inferior to them.
Katarina Carroll needs to show leadership and true grit by at least sacking a few of the "worst offenders", and yes, that includes at least two commissioned rank officers, for what they have been publicly exposed and shamed for from the DV inquiry.
Imagine if civilians working in the public service, say Centrelink for example, had behaved like these shamed cops had. They wouldn't have a job, they would have been sacked on the spot.
The police commissioner didn't stand up for the cops who got sacked for refusing to be jabbed, which possibly, was out of her hands. Well sacking cops who deserve to be sacked is not out of her hands.
