JAMES TAYLOR COME UP WITH ONE BLUES EPIC TO RIVAL THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS
JAMES TAYLOR was always definitely more convincing in the guise of a folk singer, a country crooner, and even sometimes a rock artist, as "safe territory and workmanlike as his rock output generally was, than any daredevil, genre shattering blues revolutionary.
He was never the latter, he was never no ELMORE JAMES, and definitely not ELVIS, but this live performance of STEAMROLLER BLUES in 1979 was a blast. Be it an "unintentional epic" - it's glorious freewheeling blues.
