To go from being Attorney General to health minister isn't a promotion. In fact it's really a demotion. If Shannon Fentiman didn't know that when she was punted by premier Annastacia Palaszczuk to fill the shoes of Yvette D'ath, she probably knows it by now.
Fentiman already is being made somewhat of a government scapegoat for the previous health system failings of Annastacia Palaszczuk and former turncoat minister herself Dath, and the sudden resignation of the director-general.
Not exactly what comes across as being a harmonious, objective and respectful dynamic between Palaszczuk and Fentiman, in pursuit of fixing up and addressing the many flaws which continue to malign the Queensland health system.
Fentiman looks set to be the Palaszczuk government's "glutton for punishment" and the one to take the rap for everyone else's failings, no matter how much she tries to rise above the mediocrity.
