ROGUE INSULATION PANELING RESPONSIBLE FOR FUELING LONDON TOWER INFERNO MUST BE UNIVERSALLY OUTLAWED

The London apartment tower inferno was nothing short of a catastrophe. The death toll from it was in the dozens, with many others suffering terrible injuries, including burns. It's a catastrophe made worse and even more regrettable by the fact that all the indications are that such a destructive and unstoppable fire was all too preventable. 

The saddest irony is that the large scale renovations which were made to the apartment block around a year ago very likely greatly fueled the inferno, not the other way round. That's because of the type of insulation cladding which was used as part of the renovations, the same kind of cheap, nasty and inferior material which is all too common in both residential apartments and commercial buildings around the world. 

Including Australia, where it has already received some very unfavourable press coverage due to the great fire risk which it poses. Most urgently, every single council in Australia, including Brisbane City Council, must instigate an audit of every single residential and commercial building where this rogue insulation cladding has ever been used - even if it's only sheet of the crap.
