Mike Baird's Liberal-National government in NSW took a very unexpected detour to the left of centre last year & instigated legal trials of medical cannabis. One would imagine that Anna Palaszczuk's Labor government, assuming it survives the current turmoil brought on by the now sacked member for Cook, Billy Gordon , and retains
power, will surely follow suit and instigate the same here in Queensland.
It only makes sense to allow it, the only thing which wouldn't make sense is any opposition which a percentage of mainstream doctors are bound to put up against the validity of such a trial, and don't worry there is some of them, no doubt because the same doctors know that medical cannabis is a big threat to the pharmaceutical drug monopolies which they are 'employed' to protect.
No, I am not a supporter whatsoever of having cannabis legalized or decriminalized for recreational use, unfortunately just like the industrial hemp lobby the medical cannabis lobby on occasions has been hijacked by the pro-pot bandwagon, and the politics of pushing for medical cannabis acceptance remains somewhat of a no go zone for most conservative politicians. But Baird's green light to it in NSW proves that it will increasingly become a political liability for any government in Australia to reject it on any dyed in the wool ideological grounds.
Whether stalwart 'Rockefeller' doctors want to admit it or not, cannabis resin does
have some wondrous and potentially miraculous applications in medicine which
cannot afford to be overlooked any longer. We cant afford to wait around for the Rockefeller establishment to give medical cannabis the tick of approval because we'll be waiting around until the next ice age for that to happen.
