KING RICHARD ROACH CREATING ANGST IN THE BIGGEST LOSER HOUSE

Were it not for THE BIGGEST LOSER i doubt very much that i would have been as motivated as i was last year to shed the 18 kilos i did over an 8 month period. It's one form of reality TV which I obviously have time for, although i had to do the hard work and maintain the willpower to achieve my goal, the popular Channel 10 program sowed some seeds in my mind in the beginning which were needed to get me off my butt and living a healthy lifestyle. This year the format has changed somewhat, instead of individuals against individuals it's a pairing of mother and daughter or father and son up against one another, hence the extended title of the program THE BIGGEST LOSER: THE NEXT GENERATION.

Compared to last year, when the contestants by and large were concillatory towards one another even though they were competing against each other for the $250000 prize for coming first, a lot more egos have erupted and personality clashes have boiled over this year, mainly between the family duos, but there have been a couple of notable exceptions to that rule.

Namely when KEVIN 'BIG KEV' MOORE was controversially eliminated the first time round, after the three trainers on the show were given the strange task of having to eliminate one of two teams, Big Kev's mother ROSEMARY MOORE went absolutely ballistic and yelled out some expletives which were directed at the trainers, including FFS, you know what that's an acronym for, I will never forget the look on the face of Commando (he's one of the trainers) as Rosemary tore shreads off him and the other two trainers.

It was a look of bewilderment as much as to say you cant say that on TV bitch (laugh). One other simmering personality clash which threatens to cause a lot of angst in the Biggest Loser house is the me versus the rest mentality of RICHARD ROACH, a sickening and overbearing narcissist from Cedar Vale in Queensland whom host HAYLEY LEWIS has even cynically crowned KING RICHARD, quite clearly he revels in being a manipulative power tripper, and the other half of the combination, daughter, AMBER ROSE ROACH, is a whinger and malingerer in equal measure, perhaps partly in reaction to her father's domineering megalomania.

I very much hope that team GERARD AND TODD NESTER, a truly warmhearted and caring father and son pairing, ends up beating KING RICHARD and his spoilt brat princess daughter. It looks as though it will come down to the wire.
