Seems like i am banging my head against a wall about comments,
at least all this frustration over the lack of them from people who
read my blog gave me the motivation to think of a piece of music
which i love and which is very personal, a beautiful piece of time-
less piano music that i rate as the best - Music Box Dancer from
the master Frank Mills. Trust me, if i could play the piano i dont
think a week would go by where i wouldn`t warm my fingers up
with this timeless piece of classical music. Who needs the compli-
cation of jazz piano music and the bombardment of boogie woog-
ie when you can listen to such a beautiful, soothing and uplifting
piece of music like Music Box Dancer? Well, i do love some boog-
ie woogie here and there, and even Thelonious Monk had a few
masterful compositions and bursts of melodic genius (well may-
be, dont hold me to it), but if i had to name the most inspiration-
al piano tune i had ever heard then Music Box Dancer would de-
finitely make my top 6. It brings back wonderful memories for
me because my mum played it when we were driving through
the Snowy Mountains in the car on our family holiday back in
1979. It is one of the first pieces of music i can actually remem-
ber as a child. I think Music Box Dancer explains why even to
this day, whether it be rock music, blues music, jazz music and
pop music, i have an uncompromising ear for melody no matter
what kind of music i am listening to. My love for a good melody
was born the very day Music Box Dancer was played to me.
I see you havent learned to embed Youtube Videos yet , would have been good if there was one to include it.
