The band is called The Snowdroppers, and
they come from Australia. They brought out their debut album a couple of years ago called `Too Late To Pray, which is as I half explained already a very muddled affair of folky rock with bluegrass interludes and the occasional foray into beefed up hardcore blues.

I dont think I have listened to the album enough and heard enough of the leakages to be able to say if i think the album is an underrated classic or an overrated lemon.
It`s a bit like listening to the first Van Halen album, every time you listen to `Too Late To
Pray` you hear some feedback or studio noise that you never heard the time before.

The song I like the most is a very naughty ditty called `Good Drugs and Bad Women`. I trust that most people wont be influenced by the song to try hard drugs, which is what the Snowdroppers are singing about in a quite blase manner, but hey, art is art, musicians are artists, and I think the reference which
is made to hard drugs in the song is more foolish than it is sinister.

And there`s definitely nothing wrong whatsoever with bad women is there lol. I just have a lot of trouble getting one myself. And look away now if you dont want me to
tell you what the lyrics are to the last line in the song, goes something like - "suck my Richard and lick up and down my lollipop".

You got to give it to these guys that they can get up on stage and sing this song and keep it all together.
