ROCKS STILL ROCKS HARD THIRTY SOMETHING YEARS ON




Rocks, the 1976 opus by Aerosmith, remains a much underrated album which even the members of Aerosmith seem to want to forget all about. 

Maybe they have bad memories of the shape
they were in at the time Rocks was recorded, because not too many songs off Rocks seem to figure on the band's live set nowadays.

Forget all about the `new` Aerosmith post 1987, the band members are kidding themselves if they think any of the new stuff rivals what they recorded on Rocks, Toys in the Attic and Get Your Wings in the 1970`s. 

Rocks is the heaviest of them all, the song `Nobodys Fault` is one of the greatest songs in the Aerosmith arsenal, `Rats in the Cellar` is a classic speed rock`n`roll number and `Back in the Saddle` is your typical mid 70`s Led Zeppelin-ish attempt at making everyone deaf.

    Yeah I agree, Nobody's fault is just a great rock song, followed up by Sweet Emotion on Toys. yep They were the good old days.
